[DogWhispererFans] Bonding with your dog – two pack leaders?

Sox has bonded well with both my husband and me. She does respond to my
husband and obeys him well, but her preference is to be with me most of the
time. Sometimes when we’re in the living room, she’ll lay between us but
most of the time she’s laying by my feet.

I am the person who is with her most of the time – we do the walks and
playtime together – and I do the training – so it makes sense that she sees
me as her pack leader. Leeo goes with us sometimes but not nearly as much as
I would like him to.

When he comes home, she gets SO excited to see him – gives him an exuberant
welcome (almost wiggles out of her skin – lol).

I was concerned before I got her that this would drive a wedge between us,
but instead it’s brought us closer. So I don’t want this "preference" to
become a bad thing. Any suggestions?

Mary
